What a year of celebrations we are having. We thought we would share a few facts about the last twenty years...
Since our first touring production in the Summer of 1996 we have delivered a total of 31 touring productions and 3 Community Plays. Given a whopping 1,139 performances to an audience of over 100,000 at venues all over the country.
Our furthest venue South so far is West Hendred, Oxfordshire.
Our furthest venue North so far is Poolewe, Wester Ross.
Carlops, nr Edinburgh is our most visited village hall outside North Yorkshire (21).
Kirlington is our most visited village hall inside North Yorkshire (20).
We regulary visit a number of professional venues too including: The Georgian Theatre Royal Richmond, Helmsley Arts Centre, Otley Courthouse, The Wynd Theatre Melrose and The Ropewalk at Barton on Humber.
We have delivered 10 educational projects in schools and colleges. Educated over 10,000 children over 250 days at Fountains Abbey (National Trust). Not forgetting numerous site specific projects and street theatre events at Settle Carlisle Railway, Kiplin Hall, Brodsworth Hall, Dales Countryside Museum, Yorkvik Viking Festival and Ripon Charter Celebrations to name a few.
Thousands of people have walked one of our Labyrinths at Whitby Abbey, Lindisfarne, Rievaulx, York Minster and Richmond Walking and Book Festival.
Many individual workshops, tutorials, talks, training days and work experience placements.
Our creative team has included one full time employee, 2 Administrators, over 50 different actor/teachers, 7 different designer/ makers, 4 different musicians and 4 graphic designers.
