A London production of "The 39 Steps" based on North Country Theatres original 1996 production has won a prestigious West End theatre award, as "Best New Comedy ". The original Nobby Dimon and Simon Corble script has been reworked by Patrick (National Theatre of Brent) Barlow to include much more of the Hitchcock film but the critics and the public also responded to it's "uproariously funny and strikingly inventive" staging, which of course have always been hallmarks of the Nobby Dimon/North Country style. NOW it's about to open at the American Airlines Theatre in New York.
