INTO DANGER WITH KATE ADIE

The Fund raising event with Kate Adie was a great success with 140 people present to hear her lively, moving and amusing tales of her varied experience as a broadcast and press journalist, author and correspondent. We raised a substantial sum to support the work of the company whilst having a great afternoon rounded off with Wensleydale and fruit cake and tea in the Café bar of the Leyburn Picture House. That's typical of a Friends of North Country Event. Something that's good fun or fascinating in its own right but also helps fund the work of the Company.

Friends have more events in the pipe line including a wine appreciation evening and a "Gilling West to the West End Bedale to Broadway" talk about the progress of North Country's 39 Steps from humble beginnings to its current world wide success so keep looking.
